Hillcrest Nursing Home Foundation Endowment Fund
Hillcrest Nursing Home Foundation, a 501c3 organization was created in 1989
with Board Members: Ken Wellman, David Wilson, Norton Knedlik, Andrew Meyerle,
Peter Graff, E.W. Eisenhart, Virginia Anderson and Administrator, Don Harpst.
Their vision to support the progress of Hillcrest Nursing Home has truly changed
the facility for the benefit of current and future residents.
Current Board Members include:

- Tor Olson, Vice-President
- Jim Howard, Secretary/Treasurer & Hillcrest Trustee
- Theresa Fichtner, Hillcrest Trustee
- Jack Clark
- Kent Craw
- Peter Graff, Board Emeritus
- Peggy Rogers, Hillcrest Administrator
Two projects were completed in 2008: renovation of the courtyard in the 100
wing and installation of additional fire sprinklers to complete coverage of the
entire facility.
Employee scholarships are a major focus for the foundation. Hillcrest Foundation will hold their annual fundraising Piano Concert on October 16th with the talented McCook Piano Quartet and featured performer, Kathy Latta.
Hillcrest Nursing Home Foundation plans to set-up endowments through the Nebraska Community Foundation-McCook Community Foundation umbrella, utilizing their expertise for planned gifts.
