Kay is a retired teacher who is now active as a community volunteer. She has served two terms on the YMCA board of directors, and is past president of the McCook Arts Council. Kay is also involved with The McCook Community Foundation, Buffalo Commons, the Civil Service Commission and various church activities, such as choir and bell choir.
Kay has four children: Kris and his wife and two daughters live in Cincinnati, Ohio. Kris is an engineer/sales executive for Koch Oil Company. Todd, his wife and two sons live in Louisville, Colorado. Todd is a business manager in Denver, Colorado. Brad is a Chiropractor and lives in Mineral Wells, Texas with his wife, son and daughter. Tracy is single, lives in McCook and teaches Special Education for the McCook Public Schools.
